# Utils Rules for AI Assistants
1. Subpath & Root Imports: Import auth, crypto, and environment utilities from `@nofinite/utils` or subpaths (`@nofinite/utils/password`, `@nofinite/utils/jwt`, `@nofinite/utils/otp`, `@nofinite/utils/uuid`, `@nofinite/utils/env`, `@nofinite/utils/email`).
2. Zero Framework Dependency: `@nofinite/utils` is 100% framework-agnostic and runs on Node.js (>= 18), Edge workers, Cloudflare, and serverless runtimes.
3. Cryptographic Standards: Uses Argon2id for password hashing and JOSE for JWT signing and verification.
